The client
Manly Waters Private Hospital has been providing expert and excellent nursing care to the Sydney Northern Beaches since 1972. Their rooms overlook spectacular Manly Cove, lending a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere to the hospital, and it is only a five-minute drive to the centre of Manly.
The brief
Increase brand awareness and promotion of the Manly Waters Private Hospital. Establish Manly Waters as an influential organisation within the medial landscape on the Northern Beaches.
Solution
A three-magazine full page native advert feature in the Peninsula Living, Peninsula Living Pittwater and North Shore Living magazines.
Three magazine promotion
Well written, well designed advertorial is up to six times more effective than a display advert. Print is the perfect medium to deliver the message. A recent Nielsen study has revealed that magazines are somewhat or completely trusted by 58% of people – nearly twice that of social media. The full page spread was delivered in our October editions, which coincided perfectly with the opening of the Northern Beaches Hospital. This significantly strengthened Manly Waters Private Hospital’s brand presence.
12-month print campaign
Whilst taking advantage of a one off (larger) campaign special, Manly Waters Private Hospital had committed to consistent brand presence. This came in the shape of a 12-month ¼ page advert with editorials in our Northern Beaches South (old Manly Warringah). The goal was to create brand awareness and presence for their day rehabilitation.
Outcome
The Native feature campaign was distributed to 132,000 homes and business from Palm Beach to North Sydney to Chatswood. The strong branding and editorial style article was able to create trust, awareness, and reinforce the businesses competitive edge.
What the client said
“If you wish to reach people on the Northern Beaches, I believe Peninsula Living is a great way to go. From the sales team to their design team, they could not be more helpful and it is a local business. I have found the delivery to be excellent and, as a monthly, it hangs around my patio until the next one arrives. I have noticed of late there has been more attention to interesting editorials, too.”
